The mission of the Mount Vernon Baptist Church Men's Ministry is to prepare men to be effective witnesses for God in all areas of their lives. We endeavor to take the teaching of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; to the community manifesting these through our acts, our works and our deeds.
The Goals and Objectives of the Men's Ministry are as follows:
- To encourage and offer all men of Mount Vernon Baptist Church an opportunity to take an active role in Christian Ministry.
- To teach men the way of the righteous walk (Luke 10:26-37; Proverb 28-1; Isaiah 32-17)
- To teach men to follow the commandment of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. (John 13:34)
- To give a Forum for men to address contemporary issues in their lives.
- To go into the community and compel men to come to the Lord.
- To be exemplary role models of Christian manhood, to the community, younger generations, our families and our church.
